The impossible is achievable,
if only you believe!
Introductions are in order
My name is S. D. Ferrell or Susan to my family and friends. I am a multidisciplinary artist that has a keen interest in design, and a knack for story telling. My passion for creative arts, started at the tender age of thirteen. Back then I designed floor plans for the houses that I dreamed of building one day. I also reproduced cartoon characters, and designed and hand sewed clothes for my dolls. Different art forms for sure, but they all had one thing in common; I was using my imagination, and it didn't matter what the medium was. As long as I was creating, I was happy. Nothing much has changed over the years. I still create with whatever medium I can get my hands on; writing to me is a medium.
To date I have self-published 5 books. The Whipple Wash Chronicles, (Fantasy YA) is my debut series. I have also written The Dance of Lovers (Cozy Erotica) and Susan's Brain - MY Funny Bone Has No Wenus (Adult Comedy.) I have several books in various fantasy sub-genres waiting to be written; expected release dates are late 2020.
Presently I reside in Ontario Canada and when I am not writing, I am actively working on starting an art studio where I can conduct my own programs. Until I have a brick and mortar location I conduct workshops for private parties, local businesses and community groups. Please check out The Briers Edge page for a series of affordable and fun creative art workshops that range from beginner to advanced.
